Warranty

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of Geek Experts.

This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from Geek Experts (the “Physical Goods”).

What does this limited warranty cover?

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.

During the Warranty Period, Geek Experts will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

This Limited Warranty is not transferable.

What will we do to correct problems?

Geek Experts will repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.

How long does the coverage last?

The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from Geek Experts is 30 Days from the date of purchase.

A replacement Physical Good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Physical Good or 30 Days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.

What does this limited warranty not cover?

This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

  • Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
  • Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from negligence, improper maintenance or modification- Damaged or destroyed by natural causes including but not limited to lightning, flood, or other natural disaster- Theft or loss of the Physical Goods

Geek Experts shall assume all risk of loss or damage to the Physical Good while in transit to us.

What do you have to do?

To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.

Deliver the Physical Goods, in either its original packaging, including any accessories or documents that shipped with the Physical Goods to the address specified by Geek Experts.

Implied Warranties

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Limitation of Damages

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Geek Experts SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Consumer Protection

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state to state.

Governing Law

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles that may provide the application of the law of another jurisdiction.

Geek Experts LLC Payment Terms Policy

Effective Date: 9/1/2023

1. Payment Terms

Geek Experts LLC (hereinafter referred to as “Geek Experts”) is dedicated to providing quality services and products while maintaining clear and fair payment processes. This Payment Terms Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing payments to Geek Experts for goods or services rendered. By engaging in business with Geek Experts, you agree to abide by these payment terms.

2. Payment Methods

Geek Experts accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • ACH Bank Transfers
  • Checks (subject to acceptance and conditions outlined below)

3. Payment Due Date

Payment for goods or services rendered by Geek Experts is due upon receipt days, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.

4. Late Payment Penalties

In the event of late payment, the following penalties will apply:

4.1 Late Payment Fee

A Late Payment Fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance will be applied to any invoice that remains unpaid for more than 15 days beyond the due date.

4.2 Suspension of Services

Geek Experts reserves the right to suspend or limit access to services, products, or support for clients with overdue invoices. Services will be reinstated upon full payment of the outstanding balance.

4.3 Collections

If a client fails to make payment within 45 days from the due date, Geek Experts may engage in collection efforts, which may include legal action to recover the outstanding debt. The client will be responsible for all collection costs, including legal fees.

5. Returned Checks

In the event of a returned check due to insufficient funds, a stop payment order, or any other reason, the following policies and penalties will apply:

5.1 Returned Check Fee

A Returned Check Fee of $50.00 (fifty dollars) will be assessed for each returned check. This fee is intended to cover administrative costs associated with processing the returned payment.

5.2 Additional Charges

If a check is returned, the payer is responsible for reimbursing Geek Experts for any bank charges, fees, or legal expenses incurred due to the returned check.

5.3 Payment Resubmission

The payer must resubmit the full payment amount, including the original invoice amount, any applicable fees, and any additional charges incurred due to the returned check, within seven (7) business days from the date of notification of the returned check.

6. Protection of Sensitive Information

Geek Experts is committed to safeguarding sensitive payment information. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your payment data, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits. 7. Dispute Resolution

If you believe there is a legitimate reason for disputing a payment or an invoice, you must promptly notify Geek Experts in writing. Geek Experts will investigate the matter in good faith and attempt to resolve the dispute in a fair and equitable manner.
